Mortgage Checklist

The following information is usually required during the loan process:

  • Your Social Security number
  • Current pay stubs showing one month's consecutive pay history
  • W-2's for the past two years
  • If self employed, your personal and business tax returns for the past two years complete with all schedules and K-1's.
  • Bank statements for the past two months
  • Investment account statements for the past two months
  • Retirement account statements for the past two months
  • social security, disability, insurance or other compensation award letter  

If you currently own Real Estate:

  • Mortgage account information
  • Home insurance policy information
  • Home equity account information (if applicable)
  • Copy of the deed
  • Copy of most recent property tax bills

If you are purchasing a home:

  • Fully Executed Sales Agreement
  • Copy of your cancelled check used for down payment/earnest money

If you are building a home:

  • Construction Agreement fully executed by all parties
  • Plans
  • Specifications
  • Building and sewer hookup permints
  • Other estimates
  • Copy of your check for a deposit made to your contractor
